What an incredible fall!  We now have three buildings complete.  Unit 17 and Unit 20 just closed – congratulations to the new home owners.  And, Units 18 and 19 will be closing by the end of the month. Pretty incredible how each buyer has put together a beautiful home for themselves – all so different, but all so nice!

Our fourth building is well under way too.  In Units 5-8, rough plumbing and electrical have been completed and insulation is being finished up.  Dry wall will be coming soon followed by plasterers, finish carpenters, then we are off and running.  Paint, flooring, cabinets, lighting, counters… I love seeing the custom finishes come together in each unit!

Our fifth building is now up and framed with roofing almost complete.  Phase V consists of Units 13-16  which are our two car garage layouts.  These are all under contract and the last four of our two car garages!

AND yesterday, the framers started on our last building over at Ides Hill Commons. Going Going… almost gone!

Word is out that Ides Hill Commons is the hottest new construction project in the area!   Buyers are making decisions and making decisions fast so that they don’t miss out!  All eight of our first units are now SOLD.  We could not be happier for these new home owners and are excited to welcome to them to what is sure to be a wonderful Townhome community.

Our next two buildings are both all under agreement.  Units 17-20 are well under way and getting set for November closings.  Over the next few weeks, paint, floors, cabinetry, counters, lighting, and appliances will all be going in as we near completion.  Be sure to check back with Jen McMorran, New Construction and First Time Home Buyer Specialist, 508-930-5259 if you’d like to see a completed model again featuring all of our standard finishes as well as those custom choices made by our buyers.  By the beginning of November we should be on the home stretch…

Units 5-8 are also now all under agreement.  These one car garage models with basements are expected to be completed in February.  Our crews are absolutely flying through the exteriors now.  Windows, roof, and siding are almost done and surely our other crews will keep working at the same pace once we are weather tight.  Keep an eye out in January as these models really start to take shape inside.

We now officially have our first three buildings all under contract.  In fact, we closed on our first unit a week ago.  A big congratulations to the new homeowners of Unit 3 at Ides Hill Commons!!  The remaining three units in that building will be closing over the  next few weeks so your new neighbors are coming soon!

As an FYI:  For all of our available units, please be aware that buyers will have to accept some flexibility in completion dates as new construction is very tough to plan that far out.  Lots of variables involved such as coordinating our fantastic subcontractors (who we know will meet WB Construction’s highest standards) and the dreaded winter months – we just never know if Mother Nature will cooperate with our constructions plans.

But I can assure you… these luxury townhomes are worth the wait!

First Four Under Contract!

IMG_9663It was a busy week over at Ides Hill Commons.  The top floor and roof  are now in place on units 21 through 24 – our second building to go up.  And if you can believe it, all four of those units are now under contract for September closings.  Two car garage models seem to be very popular this year!  Once framers are able to complete their work in that building, they will clear out and more site work can occur simultaneously as our subcontractors  continue to work away inside the units on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, insulation, and walls 🙂  There will definitely be a lot going on over the next month or so!

Only five units left in our first two buildings which should be ready for July and September 2016 delivery. Electrical and plumbing are underway in our first building (units 1-4).   Walls will start going up soon!  Framing should be completed on our second building (units 21-24) within the next two weeks.    Once framing crews are done, builder will be getting back to the site work in preparation for paving. (Unfortunately, site work and wood for framing are not a good match.  Getting that building framed is the builder’s first priority so we can get subs in there to keep working!).

A pretty sight!

IMG_7814A little rain won’t stop out crews!  Definitely dreary out, but in new construction, progress always brightens the day.  Framing has begun on our two-car garage units at Ides Hill Commons.  Plus, windows and siding are going on our first one-car garage building.  That means eight 3BR, 2.5BA Townhomes will be ready this summer!
